Through her lens, Montréal photographer Alma Kismic suspends time and reveals the invisible. In capturing portraits, landscapes, and good eating and fashion moments, the light artist is able to illustrate the dialogue between time, nature, and what people have created in a language imbued with feeling, sensitivity and sensuality. This backlit photo was taken in Cap-des-Rosiers, in the Gaspésie region. The contrast between the white flowers and the sky's chiaroscuro effect underscores the sense of peace and tranquility emanating from this image.
