During her studies at the Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute of Industrial Design, in China, Queenie (Kun Xu) learned the basics of her craft by immersing herself in her environment. As she works clay, she explores emotions and how objects connect us to our space. She creates utility designs that can transcend their function to become inspiring sculptures in our decor. Like its cousin, the Johnson no. 1 vase, this container showcasing a playful and geometric shape is part of a series where simple decorative details adorn curvy designs. Its neutral tones will blend easily with their surroundings, while still turning heads whether you display this item alone or filled with vegetation.
