Strobus Forge

This small blacksmith's workshop is named after the largest tree species growing on Quebec soil, the white pine, whose Latin name is Pinus Strobus. This giant, with its high silhouette and commanding presence, stokes the imagination and admiration of blacksmith Rémi Bédard. With a background in biology and as a nature lover and poet at heart, the metalsmith is sensitive to his environment. He perceives the world as a changing canvas, on which he likes to tell his story through his art. His creations, painstakingly forged on his anvil, become the harmonious and singular union of fire, brawn, and hammer. They artfully combine traditional with modern practices, and aesthetics with pragmatic applications, all while showcasing the craftsman's lasting and proud signature, along with his heritage and history.
